Anchored Bible Church Facility Use and Rental Guide

Section 1: Booking
Contact person(s): All inquiries as to the use of our facility must go through the pastor or his designee who will have final say in determining how this guideline applies.
Distinguishing between ministry and other uses: Priority for bookings for the facility will be made in accordance with the following:
1. Ministries of the church
2. Weddings/receptions and memorial services/receptions officiated by licensed ministers
3. Rental use by members of the church. Rental fees (if any) will be determined by the pastor.
4. At this time, no bookings will be made for general public use.
Designated facility: the following facilities may be booked: sanctuary, kitchen/fellowship hall, conference room, West Wing.
Guidelines:
>Release and Indemnity form is to be completed where appropriate
>One large event per weekend only.
>Events can begin at 8:00 a.m. and must be finished by 11:00 pm.
>Smoking and drinking are prohibited.
>Stage items in the Sanctuary may only be moved by approved personnel.
>Use of tables and chairs is included in this agreement.
>User is responsible for set up and clean up.
>Key arrangements can be made through the Pastor.
Section 2: Church Ministry Usage
Church ministries is our top priority for facility use. These include worship services, youth and children’s ministries, vacation Bible school, community outreach events, and fund raisers. The leader of a ministry area is the only person who will book rooms for use.
Section 3: Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions
Guidelines:
>A wedding ceremony can be booked after the officiant and the pastor have approved it.
>A wedding ceremony cannot be booked more than 12 months in advance.
>Weddings and receptions will either be booked for Friday evening or Saturday.
>ABC does not charge a facility rental fee; however, a suggested donation is appreciated.
>If a sound technician or a computer technician is needed, the usual fee is $100 per technician.
>Smoking and drinking are prohibited.
>Users are responsible for set up and clean up.
>Key arrangements can be made through the Pastor.
Section 4: Funeral and memorial services
>Services can be booked any day of the week subject to approval by the Pastor.

Section 5: Other Usage
Occasionally individuals who are members of our congregation may wish to rent the facility for private reasons. All such usage is subject to the approval of the Pastor.
Guidelines:
>Family events such as anniversaries and birthday celebrations are permitted.
>Smoking and drinking are prohibited.
>Users are responsible for set up and clean up.
>Key arrangements can be made through the Pastor.
